On 20th October 2015, a Hi-Five Netball competition for students in years 5 and 6 was held at the Albany School.


A total of 20 schools entered the competition.  These schools were: Ardleigh Green, Clockhouse, Crownfield, Elm Park, Harold Court, Harold Wood, Hilldene, Hylands, Nelmes, Newtons, Oakfields, Parklands, Parsonage Farm, Scargill, Scotts, Squirrels Heath, St. Joseph’s, Suttons, Upminster Junior and Wykeham school.


The competition began by the teams being split in to four pools, each with four teams.   All teams within each pool played each other with the winners and runners up progressing to the quarter finals.  The quarter final matches were: Ardleigh Green vs Oakfields, Harold Wood vs Clockhouse, Newtons vs Scotts and Parsonage Farm vs Hilldene.


The winners of the quarter finals who progressed to the semi-finals were Ardleigh Green, Scotts, Harold Wood and Parsonage Farm.  The finalists were then revealed as Scotts and Parsonage Farm.


The final game was brilliant with Parsonage Farm coming out on top to claim the trophy.  Parsonage Farm will now represent Havering in the London School Games at Crystal Palace on 10th March 2016.

During the Hi-Five Netball competition we identified 6 schools who displayed the values of passion and respect.  Congratulations to Scotts Primary, Harold Court and Oakfields Montessori who displayed passion and to Harold Wood, Parsonage Farm and Nelmes for showing respect throughout the competition.
