Primary Basketball Competition

28 Apr Primary Basketball Competition

A fantastic day of basketball for children in years 5 and 6 took place at the Sacred Heart of Mary School on Thursday 25th April 2017.

The standard of basketball was extremely high and following exciting semi final matches between Parsonage Farm and Broadford and St. Edward’s and Ardleigh Green, a hotly contested final was played between Parsonage Farm and St. Edward’s.

With the score level at full time, an extra 2 minutes was played and Parsonage Farm finally won.  Congratulations to Parsonage Farm who will now go on to represent Havering in the basketball at the London Youth Games finals.

The School Games values awarded for the competition were for passion and determination:

Determination: Benhurst B, Wykeham and Clockhouse were committed and pushed themselves to be the very best they could be.
