Primary Handball

13 Nov Primary Handball

On Thursday 31st October, nine schools attended our primary handball event at Bower Park Academy.

Fast and furious group matches were played across two courts, with noise levels in the sports hall full of excitement and cheering from the participants.

The afternoon accumulated with a final between Benhurst and Parsonage Farm being watched by all participants.  Congratulations to Parsonage Farm who took the win.

Our values for the day were respect and passion.  Respect was awarded to St. Joseph’s and Crowlands for treating others politely and with understanding. Passion went to Nelmes and Parsonage Farm for always giving 100%.

The event was expertly managed by head of PE Chris Baker, with his girl handball team players officiating. We couldn’t run any of our events without the help and support of the young leaders and the handball team did an outstanding job of controlling the games.
