On Wednesday 1st March,  our rugby megafest was held at May & Baker RUFC in Dagenham.



The festival, for pupils in years 4 and 5 is an inclusive event that provides an opportunity for children who may not usually represent their school to get involved and try different rugby related skills, in a non threatening, non competitive environment.

Twelve schools brought teams to the megafest where the children took part in games such as rugby rounders, rob the nest, tag rugby, ball touch, hares and hounds, statues, end ball and breakout tag.

All teams in attendance were awarded a School Games Values certificate for each year group:

Ardleigh Green – Team Work and Passion
Branfil – Self Belief and Determination
Clockhouse – Determination and Team Work
Dame Tipping – Passion and Respect
Elm Park – Respect and Determination
Hilldene – Self Belief and Honesty
Nelmes – Honesty and Team Work
Oakfields – Honesty and Passion
RJ Mitchell – Respect and Determination
Scotts – Team Work and Honesty
St. Albans – Self Belief and Passion
St. Edwards – Respect and Team Work
St. Josephs – Self Belief and Passion
